Prescription Safety for You and Your Family

A mother’s work is never done; and neither is her worry.  We worry about our kids falling off of their bikes, so we make them wear helmets, kneepads, and elbow pads to help protect them.  We worry about them in the car, so we are sure they are buckled up properly.  They sneeze, so we take them to the doctor to cure their ailments.

How many times have you gone shopping for a particular item, say, at the supermarket, only to find that it’s half the price of what you’ve paid at another store 2 miles away? The frustration felt for spending more than necessary can make you cringe, shutter, or even cry (especially if money is tight). You can chalk it up to learning, experience, or the gas money you would have spent to get the item at the other location.

Me, Buy Long Term Care Insurance? Now?

According to the American Academy of Actuaries, 40% of all individuals receiving long-term care are adults between the ages of 18 and 64; and that’s working age! The majority of these folks have suffered through some unfortunate event such as an auto accident, are stricken with Multiple Sclerosis, or are dealing with the effects of a stroke, brain tumor, etc. The sooner you plan for such ill-timed events, just as with any other type of personal insurance coverage, the less costly it will be.
